Download your Booby Feet

Support GCT's Blue-footed Booby Day on Friday 17 June 2011 by 'Doing the Booby' to raise money and awareness for these amazing birds and their unique island home.  There are plenty of ways to join in- just don some blue shoes, blue socks, blue wellies, blue flippers or print out our special Booby footwear following the instructions below.  Basically anything goes, just make sure you're involved!

 

How to get special Booby feet to wear:

  1. Download your Booby Feet! 
  2. Donate £2 or more if you can- every penny counts!
  3. Print your Booby Feet.  Printing on paper is fine, but gluing them to some card would be even better!
  4. Carefully cut out your Booby Feet and with a pencil or other sharp instrument, make holes in the white circles. 
  5. Now tie a knot at one end of a piece of string and thread it through one of the holes. Wrap the string around the back of your ankle and thread the string through the second hole and tie.
  6. Top tip: so the string doesn't tear them, you can strengthen the holes by placing some sticky tape around each one.  Stick it on the underside of your Booby Feet, where no-one will see.

Make sure that everyone else in your office/school/family has Blue-footed Booby feet too! Why not make up more spare feet on the day to encourage more people to join in the fun and donate some pennies to the cause?
