The 2011 Blue-footed Booby Day celebrations
Thank you to everyone who took part in this year's Blue-footed Booby Day. We had a great time wearing blue feet like the Boobies and hope you had fun celebrating the day too!
Please send us your photos and let us know what Booby antics you got up to!
People got involved in many different ways for Blue-footed Booby Day. Here are some examples of just a few of them...
In partnership with Journey Latin America, some of us danced our blue feet to funky cumbia beats at the first ever Blue-footed Booby Zumba event, held on Turnham Green!
A video of the Zumba event was made by Nautilus Films' Maurice Melzak. Please click the Play icon below to see Maurice's video.
Here are some other photos of us having active fun.

Budding artists and Blue-footed booby fans took part in our Blue Feet Art Competition. Here are the entries from our lucky three winners.
Office workers in London and all over the UK enjoyed some Friday fun in the name of Blue-footed Boobies, by wearing bright blue socks, blue feet or even just baring their smelly feet!

Two brave souls, Georgia and her friend Max, valiantly donned their running shoes to take part in one of the toughest marathons in the UK, the Cape Wrath Challenge. And to support them in their scramble over the Scottish hills, the incredible artist Vanessa Garwood, kindly donated one of her stunning paintings, Portrait VI for GCT to auction.
