GIFT AID

If you are a UK taxpayer you can greatly increase the value of your membership subscription or donation by signing a gift aid declaration.

Please note that you should pay UK income tax or capital gains tax equal to the tax we reclaim on your donations, which is currently 28p in the pound.

If you wish the Galapagos Conservation Trust to be able to reclaim tax on your subscription or any donations you have made to them since 6 April 2000, you can email them at gct@gct.org or complete a form online.

Since April 2004, people who complete a Self Assessment tax return are able to nominate a charity to receive all or part of any repayment due to them. If you are a self-assessed taxpayer you should have received information on how you can do this. GCT is signed up with the Inland Revenue and is able to receive donations of this kind.
