MEMBERS AREA
Welcome to the GCT's members' area. Since the Galapagos Conservation Trust was founded in 1995 we have relied on our members. Some conservation organisations rely on grants from other bodies and from government to achieve their aims. We, too, like support from those quarters, but we have always believed that our members are our lifeblood. Throughout the years you have donated to our appeals, you have attended our events, and some former members have left us welcome legacies. It's fair to say that without our members the GCT never would have amounted to very much.
That is why we are so proud of our members, and we hope you are proud of what we have done and are doing for Galapagos with your contributions. To mark GCT's tenth anniversary we launched this Members' Area, to make it easier for you to renew your membership here; to notify us of any changes in your circumstances, such as address changes; to book places at our events; and to buy raffle tickets and make donations.
We may sometimes ask you to express your views about conservation of the Galapagos Islands, perhaps by signing an on-line petition, or perhaps by writing a personal letter to the President of Ecuador. We know that the government takes it seriously when they receive lots of letters from the public, so that's another way that you may be able to help our cause.
Above all, please enjoy the members' only area. There'll be some fun here, and some great photos to look at. And of course, it's one way that we can say thank you for being a good friend of Galapagos. We hope that you'll continue supporting the Galapagos Conservation Trust in the future.
