ANNUAL PHOTOGRAPHIC COMPETITION
GCT's annual photographic contest is in its sixth year and continues to grow in popularity. With digital entries now being the preferred media, the competition is rife!
Judging takes place following the closing date of 31st October, where the GCT staff shortlist approximately 30 of the best entries. The shortlist is then displayed on our website during the month of December for the public online vote. The image with the largest number of votes then becomes the 'public's winner' and a winner in its own right. The 30 selected images are also presented to a panel of judges, who decide on the outright winner and the remaining entrants to the calendar.
All those chosen will receive 2 copies of the Galapagos calendar, featuring their winning image and 12 other stunning images of Galapagos, as their prize. The overall judge's winner will also receive 2 complimentary tickets to our annual Galapagos Day event.
