Thank you for continuing your membership of the Galapagos Conservation Trust's Tortoise Club. You and your class have been members of the Tortoise Club for two years. In that time you have learnt a great deal about the fascinating Galapagos Islands. By now you will have realised that it is not just tortoises that need help and protection from scientists and conservationists.

This area of our website will help you learn a little more about the other endemic (native) animals living on the islands. Some of these animals are unique, so we must all help to keep the Galapagos plants, animals and birds safe from pollution and other creatures which could harm them.

By continuing to be a member of the Tortoise Club you, your classmates and your school are all playing a very important part in the conservation of the Galapagos Islands.
